Job Summary
Conduct backend development for the Agents Channel domain, owning features from inception through design, coding, and production deployment with high test coverage. Collaborate with product, marketing, and front-end teams to rapidly iterate on solutions while leveraging AI and LLM-powered tools to enhance productivity. Deliver clean, testable code via CI/CD pipelines using server-side Kotlin, Java, or similar languages within distributed cloud environments on AWS. Requires 6+ years of backend experience, strong OOP knowledge, and SQL skills. Located in Waltham, MA (Hybrid 3 days In Office) with an annual base salary range of $163,000—$220,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6+ years of proven experience in Backend development
- Java/Kotlin or similar languages (Python, .NET)
- A B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of OOP concepts and best practices
- Experience working with Relational Databases and good SQL skills
- Adaptable, with a passion for quickly learning new technologies and working effectively in a dynamic environment
- Ability to navigate and work effectively across diverse domains and contexts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid 3 days In Office)
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on development of highly distributed, cloud-based environments - an advantage
- We work with AWS, but any cloud experience is a plus
