Job Summary
Lead development of backend services using Go (Golang) and build, maintain scalable REST and gRPC APIs. Translate architecture designs into production-ready solutions while mentoring mid-level and junior engineers. Own backend delivery quality, performance, and reliability by collaborating with DevOps and frontend teams. Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical reviews to troubleshoot complex production issues. This role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership within a global consulting firm, offering a clear path to architect or engineering manager positions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong hands‐on expertise with Go (Golang)
- Experience building and leading microservices-based systems
- API development experience (REST, gRPC)
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong English communication skills

- Kubernetes experience
- Azure cloud experience
- Event-driven or asynchronous architectures
- Prior lead or tech‐lead responsibilities
