Job Summary
Mentor, grow, and develop direct reports while leading agile team operations to ensure consistent, high-quality software deliveries. Contribute to department-wide engineering initiatives, optimize developer experience, and actively participate in hiring, interviewing, and performance reviews. Maintain a deep understanding of core ad exchange and ad server functionality, overseeing deployments, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting complex production issues. Champion modern development practices, including agentic-assisted coding workflows, and support engineers in their growth alongside architecture decisions. Lead one of Verve's central engineering teams in Dublin, helping build and scale core functionality for a trusted global advertising ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with system-level languages
- 3+ years of direct experience managing, leading, and growing a team of engineers
- Proven experience working with Cloud Computing platforms (GCP, AWS)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of agentic-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform) and monitoring/alerting systems (Grafana, ELK)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field
