Job Summary
Develop and maintain a Java-based microservices architecture hosted on AWS, ensuring code is modular, well-documented, and resource efficient. Lead backend engineering efforts by participating in system architecture definition, conducting active code reviews, and performing operational maintenance on runtime systems. Drive continuous improvement by providing recommendations for product and delivery processes while adhering to strict security and monitoring standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technologies including Spring Boot, GraphQL, and Terraform within an immutable infrastructure model.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' software development or programming experience
- in-depth understanding of distributed systems
- Good working experience with Java(8 or later)
- experience in Spring Boot Framework
- SQL
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, specifically data structures and algorithms
- Working knowledge of a modern software development lifecycle management methodology, such as SCRUM
