Job Summary
Conduct discovery, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in a thriving environment for the Everyday Banking Payments domain. Manage individual project priorities and deliverables while participating in team knowledge sharing sessions. Propose new findings during Get Stuff Done Days and stay current with the latest technology trends. This hybrid role is based in Barcelona or Berlin. Candidates must have experience developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems, along with a sound understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-native environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems
- Sound understanding of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
- Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture
- Strong bias for action and getting things done
- Ongoing appreciation and consideration for security
- Motivation to write code which is well-tested and well-documented
- Ability to give and receive open, direct, and timely feedback
