Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services focusing on distributed architecture and microservices, while leading the migration of critical services from monolithic frameworks to ensure high availability. Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and analyze system performance to optimize pricing service efficiency. Contribute to architectural discussions to shape solution design and apply emerging technologies to improve the team's stack. Collaborate with global teams to build operation planning infrastructure supporting internal teams and enhance the user journey for meal delivery customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on back-end development and system architecture
- Proficiency in back-end technologies and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Go)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience in migrating applications from monolithic architectures to microservices
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid experience in Agile development practices
- Strong mentorship abilities
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
