As a Backend Engineer (Entry Level), you will design and implement backend services for a Web2/Web3 domain registrar and marketplace. Responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams, maintaining backend services, contributing to blockchain protocol integrations, assisting with payment integrations, writing clean and testable code, and debugging existing codebases with mentorship. Required skills include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, familiarity with backend programming languages, basic database knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0–2 years of professional experience in backend development (internships, projects, or open-source contributions count)
- Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative development
- Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean)
