Job Summary
Backend Engineer responsible for developing distributed microservices in Go to protect millions of users from malware, focusing on scalable, secure code and architecture. Collaborate with a team to design, develop, and deploy services using Go, MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Cassandra, contributing to cybersecurity tooling and threat-protection initiatives. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 office days and 2 days remote; global opportunities to work from anywhere within the allowed remote policy. Passion for backend systems, security, and building high-quality code with an emphasis on scalability and security.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with distributed technologies and NoSQL databases (Cassandra or Kafka)
- System design experience and knowledge of design patterns
- Experience building backends in Go
- Interest in antivirus and secure online experiences
- Backend architecture and scalable, stable code
- Strong collaboration and communication within a team
