Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture using Python and Django while building and integrating RESTful APIs for front-end communication. Manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, optimizing queries to ensure data integrity and security. Integrate third-party services including payment gateways and authentication systems, and write clean, efficient code following industry best practices. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions, participate in code reviews, and conduct unit and performance testing. Troubleshoot and debug existing systems to enhance functionality and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python/Django Developer
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework
- Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
