Job Summary
Own and manage backend infrastructure for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability while designing deployment architectures for both hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools. Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and security in production and partner with product teams to deliver new features while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Drive AI-native development practices that enable rapid, high-quality releases. This on-site role in Berlin requires 1–6 years of backend experience with TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and Prisma, offering a salary of €70,000–€110,000 and equity opportunity within a founding team building private market operations infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 1–6 years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and NestJS for building backend services
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma in production-grade environments
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi to manage deployments
- This is an on-site role based in Berlin, Germany
- Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Inngest) or agentic frameworks
- Experience working in fintech, private markets, or enterprise SaaS environments
