Job Summary
Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems powering AI solutions for large enterprises. Role involves creating APIs for machine learning models, vector databases, and embedding services; integrating with AWS services; building automation, monitoring, and observability mechanisms; and delivering reusable Python libraries for GenAI workflows. Strong emphasis on correctness, composability, and deterministic execution paths, with focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability in cloud-native environments. Potential for full-time roles after initial contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python with emphasis on clarity and testability
- Experience designing APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
- Experience with Docker and modern deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with distributed systems and asynchronous processing
- Experience integrating AI/GenAI workflows and vector databases
- Ability to design and implement scalable backend architectures for AI workloads
- Strong communication skills in English
- Self-directed, fast-paced environment experience
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with functional programming concepts in practice
