Backend Developer (TypeScript)

Job Summary
Backend Developer responsible for end-to-end ownership of systems powering financial products, building secure, scalable backend services and third-party integrations, deploying, testing, and monitoring production code with proper logging and tracing, and driving the implementation of AI frameworks and automated agents to shift the platform toward an agentic-first operating model. Works within a collaborative team to ensure compliant engineering practices and rapid response to security or production incidents, using AWS Serverless, TypeScript, Node.js, Claude Code, Grafana, and Github Actions to support fintech-scale infrastructure. The role is office-first with remote flexibility (1 day per week) and is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of professional backend software engineering experience with TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of backend architecture, secure data transferring, and modern cloud environments
- Practical exposure to AI models, LLMs, or building automated agentic workflows
