Job Summary
Serve as a key member of an Agile/Scrum software development team, translating designs and requirements into efficient code. Streamline workflows for optimized delivery while collaborating on application architecture strategy. Document technical specifications and participate in code and design reviews. Leverage strong Node.js experience to build REST APIs and GraphQL services, utilizing NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and AWS technologies including Lambda and S3. Apply proficiency in GIT and unit testing with Jest to maintain code quality. Requires a BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of four years in web app development.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Node.js experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years of web app development
- Proficiency in GIT and unit testing (Jest)
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript preferred
- Hands-on REST API development, GraphQL a plus
- Experience with NoSQL databases, DynamoDB preferred
- Familiarity with AWS technologies (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
