Job Summary
Backend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs that power Lely’s robotic ecosystem. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, ensure secure and reliable systems, and contribute to future-proof platform modules. Emphasis on quality, performance, security, and integration with existing systems within a global dairy-automation context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of backend software development experience
- Experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript and modern backend frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or ExpressJS
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud or container technologies such as Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Interest in software quality, testing, and secure development practices including authentication and authorization
