Job Summary
Develop backend and mathematical models for Game in the Box solutions, including implementation of game logic, computational systems, and integration with other components. Maintain game designs, prepare and execute unit and integration tests, and create technical documentation. Design functionalities in accordance with licensing regulations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new projects and verify design correctness. Analyze game-related data to identify trends, evaluate post-deployment performance, and detect irregularities to propose corrective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of commercial backend development experience (e.g. Java/Kotlin/TypeScript/Node.js or C#)
- Strong mathematical skills, including a solid understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
- Mathematical intuition and the ability to build, run, and interpret simulation results
- Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications
- Genuine passion for games and commitment to delivering high-quality software
- Experience with backend development for online casino / iGaming products
- Familiarity with video slot mechanics and slot math models (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, pay tables)
- Experience designing game mechanics or mathematical models for games
- Ability to test and validate mathematical outcomes using MS Excel, programming, and proprietary tools to guarantee accuracy and quality
- Understanding of Docker and containerization
- Understanding of licensing and regulatory requirements in regulated gaming markets
