Job Summary
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes by updating shelf signs, tags, and promotional signage to ensure pricing integrity. Verify weekly ad price changes and promotional accuracy across all departments while maintaining compliance with company and governmental regulations. Read price tags, create signs, post tags, and use a computer to activate new pricing, including stapling and scanning items. Transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. and walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours, performing repetitive crouching or kneeling to access low points. Maintain necessary reports and schedules using strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Have acceptable combination of education and experience
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills
- Be able to analyze total scanning programs
- Be able to properly maintain necessary reports and schedules
- Be able to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes
- Possess excellent mathematical skills
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have an outgoing, friendly behavior
- Have a positive attitude
- Have the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Be able to read price tags
