Job Summary
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs, tags, and promotional signage to maintain price integrity across all departments. Verify weekly ad price changes and promotional accuracy while ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations. Read price tags, create signs, post tags, and use a computer to activate new pricing, utilizing a step ladder as needed. Transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. and walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours while performing repetitive crouching or kneeling to access points 6 inches from the ground. Maintain necessary reports and schedules using analytical and organizational skills, supported by strong mathematical abilities and Microsoft Office proficiency. Work varied hours as business dictates in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-3 months related experience and/or training
- Have acceptable combination of education and experience
- Have strong analytical and organizational skills
- Be able to analyze total scanning programs
- Be able to properly maintain necessary reports and schedules
- Be able to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes
- Possess excellent mathematical skills
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have an outgoing, friendly behavior
- Have a positive attitude
- Have the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates
