Job Summary
Back Up Nanny position providing in-home childcare for infants to toddlers across multiple Seattle-area families. Role emphasizes engaging children with age-appropriate activities, safety, and flexible scheduling; on-call with opportunities for full-time hours in Seattle and the Eastside. Responsibilities include caring for children in-home (no transporting children required), light cleanup of activities/ meals, and supporting families needing care for young children. Requires at least 18 years old, prior experience with children (paid or unpaid), reliable transportation, and availability for 4+ days per week with 6-8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm. Compensation is $20-$25 per hour, plus paid training, nanny kit, and benefits such as medical stipend, paid vacation and holidays, student loan repayment matching funds, or retirement savings matching for full-time work. Bonuses and contests offered for excellent feedback.
