Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring efficient processing and an excellent customer experience. Orchestrate truck deliveries, prioritize merchandise placement on the sales floor, and rotate back stock for easy replenishment. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary. Maintain organizational cleanliness, uphold signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Communicate priorities with management, provide progress updates, and support shrink reduction goals. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
