Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination, collect chief complaints, and verify ocular and medical histories. Perform refractions, visual acuity assessments, intraocular pressure tests, fundus photos, visual field tests, and fluorescein or indocyanine green angiography procedures. Administer topical ophthalmic and dilation medications while maintaining sterile exam rooms. Document examinations in the EMR system, provide patient education materials, and drive patients to appointments when required. Travel regularly to multiple clinics within the assigned region. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School education, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Ability to travel to multiple clinics within assigned region on a regular basis

- Experience in the Ophthalmic or Optometric Industry
- Experience as a Back Office Technician
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician
