Job Summary
Part-time Back Office Clinic Assistant at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette's East Portland Health Center. You will support clinical flow by rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with exams and procedures, handling lab work and specimen processing, stocking and preparing rooms, and helping patients feel informed and at ease. Bilingual Spanish required; duties include communicating with patients in English and Spanish, and collaborating with a clinical team to keep the clinic running smoothly. Schedule runs Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat with specific shifts; occasional additional locations may be required. Compensation is $20.37–$29.68 per hour, with a bilingual premium of +$1.72/hour; benefits include PTO, holidays, health insurance, retirement plan, and employee support programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients (nice to have)
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) (nice to have)
- Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification (nice to have)
