Job Summary
Back Office Air Specialist handles sales, service and air calls, assists travel advisors and guests with airline reservations, tickets, and flight-related requests; maintains air bookings in the GDS (Galileo) and issues tickets; builds PNRs and uses Galileo to complete complex air travel arrangements; supports Tour Directors with flight emergencies; manages queues, emails, and calls with airlines, and is capable of covering after-hours as needed; requires strong attention to detail, problem solving, and a customer-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2yrs' experience with an Air Reservation system (preferably, Apollo/Galileo).
- Must be detail-oriented and have good problem solving skills.
- Must be curious and have a desire for continuous learning.
- Enthusiastic and customer-oriented, committed to maintaining high standards of performance and service.
