Job Summary

Back-Office & Accounting Specialist to cover a maternity leave in a remote-first, hybrid Swiss team. You will manage day-to-day financial administration, including payment processing, bookkeeping (AP/AR), and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, in close collaboration with the Senior Financial Advisor. Responsibilities also include HR administration (contracts, amendments, signature workflows, expenses), order management and invoicing coordination, and payroll accounting, with potential additional admin support as workload permits. Requires hands-on accounting experience, familiarity with tools such as Bexio and payroll software (e.g., Abacus), and a background with KV apprenticeship or a university of applied sciences degree. Fluent German and solid business English are expected, along with a communicative, detail-oriented, ownership-minded approach suitable for a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed KV apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Degree from a University of Applied Sciences (or equivalent)
  • Fluent German
  • Business English
  • Several years of experience in a comparable accounting/finance role
  • Experience with accounting tools (e.g., Bexio) and payroll tools (e.g., Abacus)
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, ownership mindset
  • Ability to draft contracts and manage signature workflows
