Job Summary

The Back of House Line Cook/Prep Cook is responsible for culinary operations, ensuring guest satisfaction through food quality, preparation, and presentation. Key responsibilities include adhering to recipe and inventory guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and collaborating with managers for food production efficiency. Candidates must have at least 1 year of cooking experience, food safety certification, and strong communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen preferred
  • Food Safety/Food Handler certification required
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language
  • Proven ability to problem solve and handle high stress situations
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Desired Qualifications

  • Point of Sale (POS) knowledge/skills preferred
