Job Summary
Optimize endpoints touching billions of database rows by profiling Ruby code and analyzing ClickHouse query performance. Lead full feature implementation from architecture design through back-end delivery, ensuring customers access scaling data volumes quickly. Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including design, quality polish, and release, while performing code reviews to suggest tool and process improvements. Work on challenging products like SDK Insights, requiring deep understanding of mobile SDK teardown mechanics. Collaborate remotely with a distributed team to achieve better results.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design
- Solid understanding of RESTful systems and the principles of good API design
- Required: Ruby on Rails (or Python and willing to learn Ruby on Rails)
Desired Qualifications
- You have an understanding of the basics of cloud environments, and ideally you've had some exposure to AWS
- Nice to have: Clickhouse, MongoDB, Sidekiq, TypeScript, React.js
