Job Summary
TEKWISSENTM is seeking a Back-End Developer to integrate enterprise APIs and achieve seamless back-end integration for an enterprise web presence. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in highly scalable systems, distributed systems development in Java, and experience in Object Oriented Programming. Familiarity with RESTful web services, Agile methodologies, and relevant technologies such as J2EE, XML processing, and Rational Application Development IDE is crucial. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required, alongside at least 5 years of practical software development experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of practical software development experience on a commercial project
- Background in highly scalable and/or highly reliable systems
- Experience building distributed systems in Java
- Strong competency in Object Oriented Programming
- Experience building RESTful web services
- Experience with Agile Methodologies, preferably Scrum
- J2EE, XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns, SVN, jUnit, Ant, AJAX, JQuery, Dojo, Web Services
- Experienced on AIX and Linux
- Cross-browser knowledge
- Rational Application Development IDE experience
