Back End Developer GT

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and databases. Build scalable systems that handle high volumes of requests and data. Implement security and data protection best practices. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues. Work closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements. Manage database schemas, queries, and migrations using SQL and/or NoSQL databases. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Contribute to code reviews, system architecture, and technical documentation. (Role is identified as Back End Developer GT, located in San Francisco with remote options.)
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer
- Proficiency in at least one back-end language and framework (Node.js/Express, Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), or Ruby on Rails)
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and security principles
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
