Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain the server-side components of the energy management platform while collaborating with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring system security and reliability through regular testing and proper security measures. Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly, participate in code reviews, and translate business requirements into technical solutions by working closely with project managers and stakeholders. Stay current with industry developments to incorporate best practices and continuously improve system performance and user experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in back end development
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with server-side frameworks such as Node.js or Django
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of security principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for clean, efficient, and scalable code
