Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain mission-critical software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Implement application features, execute unit and system tests, and resolve defects through structured debugging. Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical documentation covering APIs and system architecture. Provide ongoing support for deployed systems, apply secure coding practices, and integrate components within distributed cloud environments. This fixed-term role supports core operations in a highly regulated technology landscape, requiring five years of full-stack experience and proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years professional experience in full stack software development
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience developing backend services using Java 1.8 or above, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, REST and SOAP APIs, and microservices architectures
- Experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular
- Experience working with relational and non relational databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Working knowledge of Linux command line environments
- Experience using CI and CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
