Job Summary
Lead the Back-End, Front-End, and Night Operations departments by assigning staff to activities, monitoring operational metrics, and ensuring proper processes for receiving inventory, stocking shelves, and managing checkouts. Conduct daily safety reviews, secure doors and gates, and address hazards while driving efficiencies in freight flow, area recovery, and product staging. Provide open feedback and performance coaching to associates, manage headcount allocation across register and administrative areas, and handle cash deposits and register pulls. Walk the store as Manager-on-Duty to observe customer interactions, validate aisle cleanliness, and funnel non-MOD activities to appropriate leaders. Respond quickly to unexpected events like callouts or unscheduled deliveries by reprioritizing tasks and maintaining safe, organized store environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 Years experience in a retail environment (or 5 years of experience in a retail environment if education requirement is not met)
- Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility)
- Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

- Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic retail environment
- Experience using store computer systems (including but not limited to: Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client, etc.)
