Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive literature research and implement numerical stress relaxation simulations in Abaqus software. Simulate the entire quenching process to precisely predict residual stress profiles in hardened components. Document scientific findings and present results to the team. This three-to-six-month project requires on-site presence and prior knowledge of material science and finite-element methods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorstudium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Mechanik, Werkstoffwissenschaften, Computational Engineering, Physik oder vergleichbar mit guten Studienleistungen
- Immatrikulation an einer Hochschule
- Lebenslauf
- aktueller Notenspiegel
- Prüfungsordnung
- gültige Arbeits- und Aufenthaltserlaubnis (ggf.)
- verhandlungssicheres Deutsch
- sehr gutes Englisch
- Präsenz vor Ort
Desired Qualifications
- Grundkenntnisse in Werkstoffkunde und Finite-Elemente-Methode (FEM)
- erste Erfahrungen mit kommerzieller Simulationssoftware (z.B. Abaqus)
