Job Summary
Conduct crisis intervention, maintain assigned caseloads, and provide clinical services including assessments, individual counseling, discharge planning, and weekly group facilitation. Manage patient medical records, complete bio-psychosocial assessments, and coordinate care with external agencies and family members. Screen walk-ins and phone calls, assist with scheduling follow-ups, and document progress notes and MDT reports. Comply with federal regulations, attend mandatory trainings and case conferences, and cover phones or reception areas as needed. Full-time, 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 5AM to 1PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field approved by licensing accreditation
- Experience in human services field
- Must always present as courteous and professional
- Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
- Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAO Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Must have the ability to work with others in a cooperative and collaborative manner
- An understanding of the relationship between substance uses and mental health issues and/or self-help programs
- Understand and maintain therapeutic boundaries
- Reinforce rules in a respectful manner
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder and HIPAA Regulations
- TB/Flu and Covid19 Assessment
- Annual Completion of the HPAO crisis de-escalation program
- CPR Certification
- Successful completion of all trainings upon hire and annually as required
