Job Summary
Teach students effectively in assigned classes while maintaining office hours for consultation. Deliver written course syllabi, evaluate instructional processes, and recommend books, materials, and teaching assignments to improve learning. Maintain accurate course records, advise students, and utilize technology to facilitate learning and generate reports. Participate in student advising, registration, and campus commencement exercises as required. Contribute to division objectives, budget requests, and college committees while promoting the institution through community marketing activities. Comply with all college, state, and federal policies and complete required professional development training.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting
- Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in Accounting
- Master's degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses
- Combination of academic preparation and work experience, including three (3) years of direct or related work experience other than teaching
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the specific teaching discipline
- Demonstrated competency (i.e., teaching experience, honors, graduate course work or other related accomplishments)
- Official transcripts
- Valid driver's license
- Regular and predictable attendance
