Job Summary
Bachelor-/Masterthesis focused on Development of an automated test rig for electrical performance tests. Responsibilities include automating tests of flight components and test harnesses, conducting measurements such as resistance/continuity, high voltage/insulation, frequency dependent inductivity, capacity, quality factor, and producing test reports. You will review existing test instructions, design and implement software drivers to control instruments, enable automatic execution of user-defined test sequences, and transfer relevant data to SAP PM or Siemens Team Center. The work emphasizes increasing reproducibility and reducing operator influence, with data stored in a database and documentation within a design description. Collaboration within an international aerospace environment, and interaction with German-language operator procedures. The role offers flexible hours with partial home office and is located at Lampoldshausen, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled full time student within Electrical Engineering or similar subject
- Practical electrical measurement experience
- Interfacing laboratory instruments with a computer
- Programming experience ideally in Labview, Python or similar
- General solid IT proficiency
- Very good English and German language skills (as operator procedures are written in German language)
- Vocational training in an electrical profession
