Job Summary
Investigate the possibility to capture a light ray’s wavefront in high resolution utilizing an adaptive sensor concept as part of a Bachelor or Master thesis. Responsibilities include conceptualization and component selection, design of the experimental set-up, alignment and calibration of the sensor, conducting test measurements, and system integration into an automated production environment. Ideal candidates will have a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics, initial experience with opto-mechanical systems, and good language skills in German and/or English.
Required Qualifications
- You are studying mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable subject
- Initial experience in setting up and operating opto-mechanical systems
- Good language skills in German and/or English
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in programming with Python
