Job Summary
Baccalaureate Advisor to support student success, retention, and completion by guiding students through registrations, billing/payments, tracking academic progress, advising on university policies, and assisting with career preparations. Responsibilities include proactive outreach via phone, text, email, and video meetings; serving as primary contact for student needs; maintaining professional inter-office communications; supporting enrollment and re-enrollment, add/drop and term-start processes; ensuring accuracy in registration, billing, financial aid documentation, and advising for DEGREE progress; utilizing Salesforce/Stratus to track communications and data; providing exceptional customer service to active, stopped-out, and reapplying students; participating in evening call rotations and organizing events (orientations, open houses, commencements); promoting university enrollment initiatives and student engagement; supporting DE Student Success and adapting to AI/digital tool enhancements; requiring flexibility for extended hours and occasional travel to Unity Environmental University locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in customer service, sales, student advising or support
- Excellent initiative and organizational skills
- Great time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse backgrounds
- Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and computerized database systems
- Detail-oriented
- Knowledge of FERPA, SAP, and financial aid/billing processes
- Proficiency with Salesforce/CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Ability to function in a matrix organizational structure
- Valid state Driver’s License with a good driving record
