Job Summary
Conduct routine microbiological testing by preparing media, reagents, and samples, then analyze results according to recorded protocols. Enter data into the LIMS and maintain ISO 17025 system compliance within the Micro department. Keep consumable stocks updated, complete quality documentation, and participate in method development and validation where possible. Observe safety, hygiene, and environmental instructions while synthesizing, analyzing, and resolving customer complaints. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Biotechnology with at least two years of molecular laboratory experience. Willingness to work extra hours or shifts is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Food Technology or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in molecular laboratory
- Laboratory testing traditional skills and molecular skills
- Master the principles and operations of laboratory equipments
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 and applicable regulatory standards
- Skills in synthesizing, analyzing, problem solving and resolving customer complaints
- Be willing to work extra hours or shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Participate (if possible) in the development and validation of analysis methods, in the quality approach (metrology for example) and in the evolution of the organization of work
