Job Summary
B2B Sales Account Executive – Fiber responsible for proactively selling AT&T’s fiber-based broadband to small and mid-market businesses within a defined territory. Role emphasizes hunting and prospecting, generating new revenue through external networks, cold calling, and door knocking, and developing long-term client relationships. Key duties include lead generation, client engagement, account development, consultative selling, proposal development (RFP responses), and designing initiatives to grow and retain revenue across complex accounts. Requires a hunter mindset, strong networking and negotiation skills, valid driver's license, and proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Field visits are complemented by collaboration with the office when not in the field. Compensation features competitive base salary plus performance-based commission, with earnings typically ranging from $93,300 to $147,500 at target, and potential for higher earnings with performance. Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of outside/B2B sales experience
- fiber broadband technology knowledge
- valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- ability to meet/exceed sales targets
- CRM systems experience
- territory prospecting and lead generation
- proven ability to close sales and develop new accounts
