Job Summary
B2B Champion/Salesperson responsible for building, growing, and maintaining relationships with local business customers to increase sales. Acts as the trusted hardware consultant for business clients, conducts lead generation inside the store, makes in-person visits and phone contacts, and educates customers on the value of working with Ace Hardware. Drives B2B integration into store culture, trains staff on B2B processes, shares success stories, and coordinates with the B2B Sales Representative. Responsibilities include generating leads, performing sales calls (phone and in-person), researching customers, managing inventory levels, handling special orders with vendors, ensuring orders are fulfilled and customers notified for pickup/delivery, and coaching store staff on B2B initiatives. The role emphasizes relationship-building, sales growth, discount policy adherence, and internal communication to motivate the team. Location: Nashville, NC (US); on-site in-store role with local customer interactions and B2B activities.
