Job Summary
Conduct detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, and replacement of aircraft components and systems while performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and function checks. Analyze performance to isolate malfunctions of avionic instrument and flight control systems, then conduct checkouts, inspections, and repairs. Ensure all work is recorded, signed off appropriately, and that aircraft airworthiness is verified before updating scheduled tasks. Provide on-the-job training to personnel on maintenance manuals, safety directives, and FOD procedures.
Required Qualifications
- FAA or EASA Part-66 B2 licensed aircraft technician
- Aircraft Maintenance Type Training Course Part 147
- Practical working experience with Cougar/Super Puma family
- Five or more years of experience in helicopter maintenance
- Five or more years of experience in the aeronautical industry
- Experience working within a team of technicians and ability to adapt to various work environments
- English Proficiency (Advanced Level)
- Advanced Technical Diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of technical documentation
- Knowledge of Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities
- Knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation Legislation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a military environment
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
