Job Summary
Certifying Engineer for Line Maintenance at Air Arabia location in Sharjah. Responsible for carrying out, supervising, and certifying line maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft under CAR 66 B1 license authorization. Includes inspections, defect rectification, repairs, and component replacement to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing task cards with the Maintenance Manager, performing scheduled maintenance, conducting tests and inspections, troubleshooting defects per Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, signing off tasks within authorized scope, coordinating with Engineers and Technicians, and maintaining proper documentation and safety practices. Requires holding or being able to obtain a CAR 66 B1 license, minimum 2 years of certified A320 maintenance experience, 5 years in line maintenance, proficient English for technical communication, and UAE driving license.
Required Qualifications
- Holds /has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications
- At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Line Maintenance environment
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to obtain a UAE driving license
