Job Summary
Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a B-Level Service Technician to repair and diagnose customer vehicles, performing routine repairs including light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems, HVAC, steering and suspension. Responsibilities include making accurate use of the multi-point inspection form, documenting work on the repair order, communicating with the service advisor for required or additional work, maintaining technician proficiency, conducting road tests when needed, completing warranty repair orders and claims, ensuring vehicles are returned clean, and complying with federal/state/local regulations. The role involves ongoing manufacturer-sponsored training, maintaining CSI performance goals, and contributing to a safe, inclusive dealership environment. ASE and manufacturer certifications are heavily preferred, and previous automotive technician experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Must have basic tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong technical and mechanical skills
