Job Summary
Automotive Service Technician (B Level) responsible for performing routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles, including light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems, HVAC, steering and suspension. Will document work on repair orders, communicate with service advisors, conduct road tests when needed, maintain proficiency per Asbury standards, complete warranty-related paperwork, and ensure customer vehicles are returned clean. Requires ongoing manufacturer training, adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, and a focus on achieving CSI targets. ASE and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred; prior automotive technician experience and a valid driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Must have basic tools
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- 18 years or older
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
