Job Summary
Perform repairs on vehicles by diagnosing malfunctions, obtaining parts, and documenting all work on repair orders. Road test vehicles when required or refer to test technicians. Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned and report machinery defects or safety issues immediately to management. Maintain dealership tools, manuals, and shop cleanliness while ensuring customer vehicles remain clean. Communicate with the parts department, service advisor, and supervisor regarding parts needs, warranty tags, additional work, or time constraints. Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and participate in training programs. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards. Operate tools safely and perform other tasks as assigned.
