Job Summary
Oversee implementation and evaluation of resident care services to ensure compliance with provincial standards and guidelines. Support all care staff in maintaining a person-centered model of care while reviewing incident and medication reports to drive corrective actions. Manage resident admissions in collaboration with the Community Placement Coordinator, strategically selecting placements based on safety and suitability to ensure bed vacancies are filled within six working days. Schedule annual care conferences and report critical incidents or allegations of abuse in coordination with leadership and case managers. Monitor emerging facility issues and maintain full occupancy while upholding AgeCare's guiding principles of trust, respect, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HCA Provincial Certification required
- Must be fluent in to perform work in English, both orally and in writing
- At least 5 years' experience in as HCA (or other Nursing designation) in continuing care setting
- demonstration of leadership abilities with strengths in supervision, leadership, judgment, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in caring for Residents with Dementia
