Job Summary
B-Pressure Vessel Welder (Day Shift) in Calgary, AB, responsible for welding metal pressure vessels per drawings using SMAW/GMAW/FCAW/GTAW processes, reading prints, fabricating and welding to vessel and piping specifications, rigging with cranes, maintaining safety, and collaborating with engineering and drafting teams during manufacturing. Shift 5:50 a.m. – 4:20 p.m.; requires Journeyman welding or pipefitting certification and a B-Pressure Certificate with 2+ years vessel-welding experience; pre-employment testing required.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman trades certificate (preferably welding or pipe fitting)
- 2+ years of vessel welding experience
- B-Pressure Certificate
- Pre-employment functional, alcohol, and drug testing
