Job Summary
Paint aircraft according to manufacturer and customer specifications; mask aircraft for protection during stripper application; strip, sand, and seal surfaces; wash and prepare surfaces; apply primer and top-coat; paint stripes per designs and detail aircraft for delivery; support painters with guidance; adhere to King Aerospace appearance standards and safety requirements; exposure to loud environments and chemicals; physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds and extensive movement; 6-10 years of experience with corporate jet painting; high school diploma or GED; ability to read and communicate effectively and work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6-10 years of experience painting Corporate Jet Aircraft
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
