B Lineman - Overhead (Jefferson EMC)

Construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems, including installing poles, insulators, and conductors on energized and de-energized lines. Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques while troubleshooting faults. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioners to maintain infrastructure. Climb wood, steel, and concrete structures in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and storms. Work at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to strict safety protocols and PPE requirements. Report to the Foreman and be available for outages, emergencies, and on-call rotation, including travel to out-of-state job sites and work outside normal business hours.
