B Lineman - Overhead (Jackson EMC)

Construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems, including installing and fixing poles, insulators, and conductors on energized and de-energized lines. Perform live-line work using approved gloving and hot-stick techniques while troubleshooting faults, and climb wood, steel, or concrete structures using approved methods. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioners, and maintain safety protocols including proper PPE and grounding procedures. Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions and travel to various job sites, including out-of-state locations, as operational needs dictate. Available for outages, storms, and emergency callouts with long-distance travel on short notice.
