B Lineman - Overhead (DUKE)

Job Summary
Construct and repair electrical overhead distribution systems, performing new construction, maintenance, and live-line work on energized and de-energized powerlines. Install and repair poles, insulators, and conductors while climbing wood, steel, and concrete structures. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and tensioners, utilizing proper switching, tagging, and grounding procedures. Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and storms, while adhering to strict safety protocols and PPE requirements. Available for on-call rotation, outages, and emergency callouts, including travel to out-of-state locations.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of recent overhead line experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Willing to travel long distances on short notice
- Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
